Welcome to Naturebank
Naturebank has been set up to provide simple and straightforward access to biodiversity net gain off-site units.
Biodiversity net gain, commonly referred to as BNG, is a legal obligation applied to planning applications that requires developers to provide measurable uplifts in biodiversity. These enhancements can either be provided on a development site or, where this is not feasible, through the purchase of off-site units.
At Naturebank, we aspire to create thriving habitats that deliver high‑quality biodiversity units. Our objective is simple: to help developers meet their biodiversity net gain obligation while contributing to nature recovery.
Naturebank has been built by a group of individuals who are passionate about restoring local landscapes. With experience in ecological consultancy, landscaping and property development, our team is uniquely positioned to provide advice and support throughout the planning process. We translate the technical complexity of off-site BNG into clear and accessible guidance to offer a practicable and workable solution.
